To extend e-Invitations to dignitaries/guests and online sales of tickets to the general public for attending Republic day and Independence day events going forward, Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Ajay Bhatt launched an online invitation management portal www.aamantran.mod.gov.in  in New Delhi on January 6, 2023. Digital India and Minimum Government, Maximum Governance are bringing government and people together. It is committed to delivering ease of life for every person. The Raksha Rajya Mantri was grateful for the invitation portal since it will simplify the ticket purchase process for Republic Day Celebrations (RDC) and reduce the amount of paper utilized for printing. Security at the RDC will increase thanks to the gateway.

By bridging the gap between the government and the general population, the Aamantran portal will make the entire process user- and environmentally friendly. Regardless of their location, the portal offers the ability for the general public wanting to attend the Republic Day and Independence Day events to buy tickets online. In addition to offering services to the general public, the portal also enables the issuance of online passes to dignitaries and their guests.

• The portal offers the ability for dignitaries and their visitors to receive online passes
• Passes and tickets are delivered digitally via email or SMS

  • Parliament House (Reception Office) – This is the special counter for only MPs and this gate will open on 18-01-2023
• The timing will be in the morning from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 16:30 in the evening

Steps to Buy Tickets Online at Aamantran Portal

To register on the Aamantran Portal, the user needs to follow the below-given steps:

• First of all, go to the official website of Aamantran Portal
• The home page of the website will open on the screen

• Now, under the Invitation Management System section, click on the Sign Up for Buying tickets link
• The registration form will open on the screen

• Now, fill in the form with all the required details:
  • Name
  • Father’s/Husband’s Name
  • DOB
  • Mobile No.
  • Permanent Address, etc
• After that, enter the captcha code
• Finally, click on the Register button to complete the registration form
• After successful registration, log in with the details to buy tickets online.

• Under the Invitation Management System section, enter the mobile number
• Now, enter the captcha code
• After that, click on the Request OTP button
