Pre- matric Scholarship

• The applicant must be a West Bengal resident.
• An applicant must be enrolled in a school or institution that has been recognised by a state or federal educational board, council, or university.
• In the last final test, the applicant must have received at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent grade.
• A family’s annual income should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
• The pre-matric and post-matric scholarships will not be available to students studying in institutes outside of West Bengal.

Post-matric Scholarship

• The applicant must be a West Bengal resident.
• An applicant must be enrolled in a school or institution that has been recognised by a state or federal educational board, council, or university.

Merit Cum- Means Scholarships

• An applicant must have received a minimum of 50% in their most recent Higher Secondary/Graduation exams.
• The student’s annual household income should not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh.
• Students who are West Bengal residents but are pursuing studies in listed institutions outside West Bengal, as declared by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation from time to time, are also entitled to apply.

Talent Support Stipend

• The applicant must be a West Bengal resident.
• The applicant must be enrolled in a technical or professional programme.
• An applicant must have received a minimum of 50% in their most recent Higher Secondary/Graduation exams.
• The student’s annual household income should not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh.
• Students who are West Bengal residents but are pursuing studies in listed institutions outside West Bengal, as declared by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation from time to time, are also entitled to apply.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Come Means Scholarship

• Apart from Under Graduate, Post Graduate level students studying General Degree programmes, the candidate must be a student of Class – XI and XII or under the Graduate level in Engineering, Medical, and Technical / Professional degrees.
• The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students based on merit and financial need.
• Students enrolled in M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes at state-supported institutions are eligible.
• The annual income ceiling for a household has been set at Rs.2,50,000/-.

• For SC and ST families, the annual family income should not exceed 2.5 lacs.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme Eligibility

• The aspirant must be a West Bengal permanent resident.
• In the last qualifying course, the candidate must have received a grade of 60 per cent or above.
• Hindi must be one of the required disciplines in order to receive the scholarship.
• The applicant must be from a state that does not speak Hindi.
• The chosen individual will be paid between Rs 3000 and Rs 10000 per month.
• Students who are enrolled in educational institutions located outside of West Bengal are not eligible for the scheme.
