Find Lost Phone (ceir.gov.in) using the CEIR Portal

Since 2017, India’s telecom department has been working on Central Equipment Identity Registration, and as a result, it has established a robust platform via which lost and stolen phones may be stopped and tracked directly. It is accomplished through the use of basic approaches or more commonly known as the IMEI number, which is a unique identification number assigned to each handset sold in India for a long time. As a result, all of the people who have misplaced their phones or whose phones have been stolen will receive a nice treat through the register.

ceir.gov.in Portal Advantages

The key benefit of the government’s implementation of the CEIR Initiative is the blocking of lost or stolen mobile phones. The IMEI number, which has been assigned to each unique mobile handset in India, will keep track of the phone, and if you block your phone number through the central equipment investigation register, your stolen phone will be unable to gain network coverage with any network company in the near future.
