However, bank interest will be charged at 4% to debtors who have received credit between Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh.
• Self-help groups would be able to apply for credit amounts of as little as Rs. 1 lakh, according to the scheme draft’s provisions. The credit amount’s maximum is Rs. 10 lakhs.
