Andhra Pradesh Kashyapa Scheme
The Kashyapa Scheme was inaugurated by the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited. This organization is a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking. Through the implementation of this scheme, facilities will be provided for the poor Brahmins in Andhra Pradesh state. Incentives will be provided to the beneficiaries of the Kashyapa Scheme in the year 2020. Through the scheme, empowerment will be provided to the poor Brahmins of the state.

Amount Of Incentives
The following amount of incentives will be provided under the Kashyapa scheme by Brahmin Welfare the society of the Andhra Pradesh state:-
- First, Rs. 2,000/- per month to Orphan children below 14 Years
- Second, Rs. 2,000/- per month to Different abled person
- Third, Rs. 2,000/- per month to Widow or destitute women (separated from husband, but do not have legal document) of any age
- Fourth, Rs. 2,000/- per month to Elderly of above 60 years of age, staying on his / her own
- Fifth, Rs. 4,000/- per month to Elderly of above 60 years of age, staying in any Old-age home in Andhra Pradesh
- Sixth, Rs. 2,000/- per month to Elderly of above 60 years of age, staying in any Old-age home in Andhra Pradesh

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the scheme the applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- The applicant should belong to the Brahmin community.
- The applicant must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- The applicant must be a Holder of White Ration Card.
- The applicant must have an annual family income below Rs. 75,000/-
- The following are eligible for the scheme-
- Orphan children below 14 years of age as on 31st Jan 2019
- Elderly above 60 years age as on 31st Jan 2019
- All differently-abled of any age and widows & Destitute women (separated from husband, but do not have legal documents) of any age.
- The applicant should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme.
Documents Required
The following documents are required if you want to enroll yourself under the scheme:-
- Passport size photograph
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste certificate issued by a competent Government authority (Revenue Inspector / MRO)
- White Ration Card
- Income Certificate issued by a competent Government authority
- Bank account details
- A certificate from Old age home that the applicant is staying in their Oldage home
- Death certificate of husband, in case of Widow OR Legal Divorce documents in case of divorcee women
- In the case of destitute women (Separated from husband, but do not have legal document) – a certificate/recommendation from Director / DLO / MCLO of the Corporation OR from MC
- Member of the AP Brahmin Cooperative Credit Society OR from any MLA / MP / MLC

Implementation Of Kashyapa Scheme
First, the scrutinizing, short-listing and finalization of applicants will be done by the State Level Committee (SLC). if the applicant passes the eligibility criteria of the scheme, the amounts will be transferred to the SB Accounts of the Selected applicants. The amount will be transferred within a month. The State Level Selection Committee is authorized to make exceptions in the eligibility/selection process as per their convenience and desire and their decision will be final.
