The Chief Minister of Odisha has launched Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana to provide housing to the citizens of the state. Through this scheme, permanent houses will be provided to the beneficiaries. Under this scheme, beneficiaries will be provided with a pucca house for construction of new house with a unit cost of Rs 120,000 for non-IAP districts and Rs 130,000 for IAP districts. Beneficiaries in non-IAP and IAP districts will receive a salary component of 90 person-days and 95 person-days respectively. Through this Yojana, building and other construction workers will get their own pucca house which is a basic necessity for human existence.
