Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana:- Different types of schemes are being launched by the government of India for the betterment of citizens. The Government of Odisha has launched a new scheme called Mission Shakti scooter Yojana, also called MSSY Odisha. This scheme was launched by CM Naveen Patnaik. Through this scheme, the CSS ( Community Support Staff ) and Executive Committee members of self-help groups will get benefits of interest subversion on scooter loans. This scheme was announced during the cabinet meeting held on 21 July. This scheme will help the CSS and EC members of SHGs to buy scooters of their choice on bank loans. The Government of Odisha state will provide interest-free loans upto 1 lakh Rs for buying scooters of their choice. About 2 lakh women will be beneficiaries under this scheme. Odisha Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana 2023
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik held a cabinet meeting on 21 July, during this meeting Naveen Patnaik announced Mission Shakti scooter Yojana. Under this scheme, the community support staff and Executive committee members will receive the benefits of interest-free loans to buy scooters of their choice. The beneficiaries under this scheme will get interest-free loans upto 1 lakh Rs. The main purpose of this scheme is to provide means of transportation so that they can carry out their responsibility more effectively. Objective of Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana
The CSS and EC members of self-help groups have played very important roles in women’s empowerment, market linkage, and livelihood promotion activities in the state. The main objective of this scheme is to provide better transport mobility by giving them the benefit of interest-free loans to buy scooters of their choice. The total number of CSS beneficiaries is 75,000 and EC members is 1,25,000 under the Mission Shakti Scooter Scheme.

Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana Benefits & Features
- This scheme will help in empowering the women of CSS and SHG federation leaders to work more effectively
- All the beneficiaries who are listed under the ‘ beneficiary list’ will receive the benefits of interest-free loans upto 1 lakh so that they can buy the scooters
- Under the Mission Shakti scooter Yojana, beneficiaries can select the scooter of their choice
- State government allocate 528.54 crore budget for upcoming 5 years, For successful implementation of this scheme
- Under this scheme about 2 lakh women will become beneficiaries with which 75,000 CSS and 1,25,000 EC members of self-help groups

Eligibility Criteria for Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana
- Only CSS and EC members of SHGs are eligible to get interest-free loans to buy scooters
- Applicant should have residency proof of Odisha
- The applicant doesn’t announce as a defaulter by any bank.
- Applicant’s Bank Account must be linked with their Aadhaar.
