• Identification of the beneficiary—With the help of other departments, the district magistrate will organize a drive to identify the beneficiary.
• This system will assist all children who have lost both parents, a surviving parent, a legal guardian, an adoptive parent, or a single adoptive parent.
• Beneficiary registration- After the beneficiary has been identified, the kid or caregiver, or any other agency producing the child, will fill out a request for assistance before CWC. Within a week, all of the identified youngsters will be registered on the portal.
• Beneficiary verification- After completing the form, the finishing authority will conduct a verification to determine which beneficiaries are eligible. The authorities will examine the candidate’s qualifications.
• If a child is discovered to be ineligible, he or she will be removed from the plan; if the child is found to be qualified, an account will be formed into which cash will be transferred.
• Account opening: – An account in the name of the child will be opened after thorough verification of the candidate’s eligibility. If the child is under the age of 18, a joint account with the district magistrate will be opened for him or her until he or she reaches the age of eighteen. A single account will be opened for those children who are over the age of 18 at the time of joining the account.
• Transfer of funds: The benefit amount will be credited straight into the beneficiary’s account after the bank account is opened. Authorities must deposit the funds into the recipients’ accounts within one month of receiving the funds.
• Beneficiaries’ Links to Other Programs:- In order to take advantage of this scheme, you must have an Aadhar Card. If the beneficiary does not have an Aadhar Card, the PM Cares For Children Yojana will help with Aadhar registration grievance redressal.
• The DM will select an individual at the ADM level to deal with grievances.
