The Government of Maharashtra has introduced a very important portal called MahaDBT ( Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer or Aaple Sarkar). Through this portal, people can apply for different scholarships presented by different departments of the Maharashtra Government. This portal can also be utilized for Direct Benefit Transfer in pension and farmer schemes. This portal also hosts about 38 post-matric scholarships for reserved category students of Maharashtra state. These scholarships are provided by 8 distinct departments of the State Government of Maharashtra. The scholarships are granted through the MahaDBT portal based on merit and category. The MahaDBT scholarship scheme provides financial assistance to students of class 11th and 12th but for that students should score about 75% or more in class 10th

The main objective of this portal is to provide opportunities to the students of Maharashtra, so that they can continue their education without worrying about financial instability. Through this portal Government will offer help to those students who are unable to pay for their education because of which that had to drop..
