On June 25, 2022, MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, introduced the kalloori kanavu project for career counselling. in order for pupils to continue their studies after completing their 12th-grade year. Under the Naan Madhuvan programme, the kalloori kunawa initiative has been introduced to help students choose their courses, colleges, entrance exams, educational loans, and scholarships. This initiative was introduced by the government at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Indore. The event has attracted over 5000 students from the government- and aid-funded schools.
From June 29 to July 2, this event will be placed in the districts. Numerous sessions on motivation, engineering, medicine, allied sciences and life sciences, arts and sciences, commerce and accountancy, law, veterinary medicine, agriculture, fisheries, government positions, bank loan aid, and scholarships will be offered during the event. In addition, medical professionals and psychiatric counsellors will provide advice on the student’s general personality development as well as diet and physical fitness. Students in classes 11 and 12 will be offered continuous sessions and a different curriculum. With the assistance of alumni, a mentorship system will also be implemented. Classes in foreign languages will be provided to pupils in order to prepare them for jobs abroad while keeping their needs in mind.
At both the district and college levels, a separate training facility will be established. Technical institutions will improve to meet industry norms. A committee led by the collector will conduct this programme at the district level under the direct supervision of the Chief Minister.
