Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme:- The Government of Telangana has issued an order under which financial assistance of 1 lakh will be provided to eligible members of minorities. This financial assistance will be provided with a 100 percent subsidy. This scheme will be implemented along the lines of financial assistance being given to the Backward class. The government issued orders on extending financial assistance to Minorities on July 23. The applicants were received in the financial year 2022-23 through the OBMMS portal. But those pending will be considered in the financial year 2023-24 for sanction of a direct subsidy of 1 lakh for each beneficiary. Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme 2023

The Government of Telangana has announced a new scheme called the Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme, under which financial assistance of RS 1 lakh will be given to eligible members of minorities. This financial assistance will be provided with a 100 percent subsidy. Applicants received in the financial year 2022-23, but pending, will be considered in the financial year 2023-24 for sanction of direct subsidy of rs 1lakh.

Fresh applicants would be called from Cristian applicants and the scheme would be executed through the Telangana State Christian Minorities Finance Corporation. This subsidy will be applicable to only one beneficiary from each family covered under the scheme. Applicants under the age group of 21 to 55 years as on June 2, 2023, will be applicable. Annual income should not exceed ₹1.5 lakhs a year In rural areas and ₹2 lakh in urban areas.

Objective of Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme

The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial support to minorities. This scheme will provide Rs 1lakh to one beneficiary from each family under this scheme. This financial assistance will be provided with a 100 percent subsidy. The state government is making all efforts to eliminate poverty in all sections irrespective of caste and religion.

Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme Selection Process

The selection of beneficiaries under this scheme will be completed by the district-level monitoring committee/district-level screening cum selection committee headed by the district collector. The district collectors have to take approval from the district in-charge Minister for the district as a whole and the list of selected beneficiaries should be displayed on the TSMFC website.

• Telangana Government on Sunday announced the implementation of the Telangana Minority 1 lakh Scheme
• Under this scheme, RS 1 lakh with a 100 percent subsidy will be provided to minorities
• The objective of this scheme is to eliminate poverty in all sections irrespective of caste and religion
• The subsidy will be provided as one time grant
• The annual income of the applicant should not exceed  1.5 lakh for rural and 2 lakh for urban areas
• Only one member from each family will be applicable to this scheme
• Applicants  that were received in the financial year 2022-23 through the OBMMS portal, but which are pending will be considered in the financial year 2023-24 for sanction of direct subsidy of rs 1 lakh

• Applicants should be under the age group of 21-55 years as of 2^nd July 2023
• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Telangana
• The annual income of the applicant shall not exceed 1.5 lakh in rural and 2 lakh in urban areas
• This scheme is for Minority communities

Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme Guidelines

• Applicants that were received in the financial year 2022-23  through OBMMS( online beneficiary management and monitoring system). But which are pending will be considered in the financial year 2023-24 for sanction of 100 percent subsidy of 1 lakh . This will be executed through Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation (TSMFC)
• Fresh applicants called from Christian applicants, for the selection of Christian candidates for extending financial assistance of Rs.1.00 Lakh cach 100% Direct Subsidy to be executed from the TSMFC
• This grant will be given to only one member of each family under this scheme
• The applicants should be under the age group of 21 to 55 years as of 2^nd June 2023
• The annual income of the applicant shall not exceed RS 1.5 lakh in rural areas and 2 lakh in urban areas
• The selection process will be completed by District Level Monitoring Committee/District Level Screening cum selection committee headed by District Collector.
• The selection list will be displayed on the TSMFC website
• This subsidy is released as one time grant
