Gruha Lakshmi Scheme SMS Number:- The Gruha Lakshmi Scheme was started by the government of Karnataka to provide financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries in the state. Under this scheme, Government will provide financial assistance of RS 2000 monthly directly into the bank account of beneficiaries using DBT (Direct Bank Transfer ) method. The main aim of this scheme is to level up the status of women heads of households from both BPL ( below poverty level ) and APL ( above poverty level )  families. About 12.8 million families will be benefited from this scheme. Interested women have to apply for this scheme, based on eligibility criteria and other conditions government will create a list of beneficiaries who will be benefited from this scheme.  From the 15th of August 2023, beneficiaries will start receiving financial assistance amount.
