Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport ( APSRTC ) was started in June 1932 as the Nizam State Rail and Road Transport Department. When APSRTC was started, it was only 27 buses in the beginning. But now it has increased to 427 bus stations, 14123 buses, 692 bus shelters, 128 depots. These buses cover a distance of 43.22 lakh km and about 71.93 lakh citizens complete their journey through these buses on a daily basis. To provide travel facilities to students, The Government of Andhra Pradesh has started offering APSRTC bus passes to students.

How to Apply Online for APSRTC Student Bus Pass
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport corporation
- After that, a Homepage will open before you
- On the homepage, you have to click on the option ‘Apply Online for Student Bus Pass ‘
- Once you click on apply online for a students bus pass, a new page will open in front of you
- On the new page, you have to click on the option ‘ Click here for fresh registration ‘. Two options will be open in front of you
- You have to choose the option that is convenient to you after that next page will be displayed on the screen
- On this page, you have to enter all the required details like student details, residential address details, school details, route details, etc.
- Once you enter all the details carefully, click on the submit button
- After that the final confirmation details page will be displayed in front of you, you have to check the details and click on the option of OK.
- Then a temporary Id will be generated in front of you, keep this Id safe. After this you have to click on the option of temporary Id , A form will be displayed in front of you
