Nabin Odisha Magic Card 2024
Odisha State has launched the Nabin Odisha Magic Card to provide the card to the students in a cabinet meeting. Under this scheme, a budget of Rs 385 crore has been set for the financial year 2023-24 to 2025-26. The Nua-O Scholarship Program of the state government will assist about 4.5 lakh undergraduate students and 32,000 postgraduate students. The online registration portal for this card will be launched on March 5, 2024. The cards will be distributed on August 15. Based on the points earned through this scheme, the card will be upgraded to Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. Cards will be allotted and upgraded based on the performance of the students.
Through Nabin Odisha Magic Cards, all 30 districts will be covered giving priority to tribal and isolated areas. It will be a point-based smart card that will measure, honor, and value every participation of students in terms of their academic achievements, creativity, sporting achievements, and social and community work.
