Mukhyamantri Maschyajibi Kalyan Yojana:- Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the Mukhyamantri Matsyajibi Kalyan Yojana (MMKY) today in honor of World Fisheries Day, to use videoconferencing (VC) to improve the welfare of the state’s fishermen. This financial year, Rs 448 crore will be spent on the 16 welfare programs for fishermen who are part of this project. Its goal is to make over a lakh fishermen in the state better off financially.
